This year, the Miss Côte d’Ivoire committee celebrates 20 years! This was announced by Messrs Victor Yapobi and Thierry Coffy, respectively President and Secretary General of the organization committee COMICI at a press conference held on Wednesday 13 January at Pullman Plateau.

UNIWAX, the historical partner of the COMICI and major stakeholder of fashion in Côte d’Ivoire, joins again this year the quest for the most beautiful girl in the country. 

For this 20th edition, the COMICI innovates by introducing the choice of 4 runner ups to accompany the Miss during her year. 3 International Committees (France, Italy and the United States) were set up to enable the girls from the Ivorian Diaspora to stand for the contest. A Canadian Committee is also being considered. 

The preselection will begin on 13th February in the town of Daoukro and end on 30 April in Bouaké. An evening gala, which will include several former winners, will be held after the Final on Saturday, 4 June 2016, to celebrate the Committee's 20 years of existence.
