For several months, Côte d'Ivoire experienced unprecedented post-election crisis, which plunged the country in a climate of division and fear involving various layers of the population yet called to live together.

Today, Côte d’Ivoire is born again! In order to contribute to the irreversible return of peace, UNIWAX, a corporate citizen and jewel of the Ivorian industry for over 40 years now, confirms its social responsibility by emphasizing the values of peace and unity that have built the Ivorian nation.

Traditionally, the UNIWAX print has been a unifying item, used in everyday life, by various communities, both in difficult times and in times of celebration. From that experience, UNIWAX decided to commit to peace in Côte d'Ivoire by launching the “Pour la Paix” collection.

This print, symbol of a multicultural, united and tolerant nation is, before all, intended as the symbol of peace in Côte d'Ivoire.

In order to further demonstrate its values of sharing, UNIWAX resolved, in partnership with the Ministry of Family, Women and Children, to donate portion of the profits gained from the sales of this print to an assistance Fund helping women and children victims of abuse.

The "Pour la Paix" collection includes three designs on two types of material, the WAX and FANCY, thus allowing each Ivorian, whatever their social status, to purchase this event print. The collection will be available as from Monday 31 October in the Woodin shops at Plateau and 2 Plateaux as well as with all UNIWAX resellers throughout the country.

Once again, UNIWAX is committed to rebuilding a united, disciplined and working Côte d'Ivoire.
