The finale of the 5th edition of Rêve de styliste or the Designer’s Dream contest started in 2007 by UNIWAX will occur this Saturday 29 September with a very promising show.

Indeed, that show will give the jury made up of professionals, including Gilles TOURE, Alain NIAVA, Michele YAKICE and Marie-Anne ATTIALE the opportunity to award the last grades to contestants.

In the first stage of the competition, young designers had to create with original prints of the 2011 and 2012 collections, a young woman outfit and a ladies' wear in accordance with the theme of African elegance.

These creations were posted on the radio Jam official Facebook page, to be first put to a public vote. That stage being completed, the competing designers are rated by the jury based on five criteria:

- Enhancement of the print pattern;

- Compliance with the theme;

- Finishing touches,

- Accessories,

- Colour harmonies,

- Creativity.

The combination of both ratings will determine the winner. 

The challenge for contestants is to win the 1st prize, namely, a fully-equipped sewing workshop. However, other prizes such as sewing machines, prints and inclusion in the UNIWAX catalogue are available to the other winners.
