On Monday 5 March 2012, the General Manager of UNIWAX signed a memorandum of understanding with the COMICI, the Miss Côte d'Ivoire organization committee, as part of the Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2012 tour.
The ceremony was attended by members of the COMICI, the Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2011 Top 3, and members of the press.
A visit of the factory located in the district of Yopougon conducted by Mr. Jean Louis Menudier, UNIWAX CEO, allowed the various guests to discover the Wax print making process.
Following the visit, Miss Betty Kouadio, Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2011 and her runner ups were offered sets of UNIWAX prints.
