UNIWAX is a corporate citizen that puts the well-being of women and men at the center of all its activities. To this end, several actions have already been achieved in order to participate in improving the living conditions of both its employees and the people outside the company.

Among them, there are:

  • Charity Promotion:

This operation took place from 8 April to 8 May, 2010. The objective was to help pregnant women of modest means by offering them 1,000 delivery kits, using a portion of the turnover generated during the promotion period. These donations were made to the health centers of the 10 communes of Abidjan.

  • Agreement with the National Preparatory Commission of the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Independence of Côte d'Ivoire (CNPCICI):

UNIWAX joined the CNPCICI to celebrate the Jubilee of the independence of Côte d'Ivoire. In agreement with the Commission, UNIWAX produced Wax and Fancy uniforms highlighting the colors of the Ivorian flag.

  • "Pour la Paix" ("For Peace") Collection

In order to contribute to the irreversible return of peace, UNIWAX, a corporate citizen and jewel of the Ivorian industry for over 40 years now, confirmed its social responsibility by emphasizing the values of peace and unity that have made the Ivorian nation.

UNIWAX decided to commit to peace in Côte d'Ivoire by launching the “Pour la Paix” ("For Peace") collection.

In order to further demonstrate its sharing values, the company resolved, in partnership with the Ministry of Family, Women and Children, to donate a portion of the profits gained from the sales of this collection to a fund helping women and children victims of abuse.

Once again, UNIWAX has proved its willingness to commit to the reconstruction of a united, disciplined and working Côte d'Ivoire.
